Founded in 1931 as a nine-hole course, Strandhill Golf Club has grown into Sligo’s premier golfing destination. In 1939, the course was redesigned by John McAlister, laying the foundation for the championship-caliber links enjoyed today. With a rich competitive history, Strandhill has earned 21 GUI provincial pennants, cementing its reputation within the Irish golfing community.
